The purpose of the Children & Youth Ministry is to bring our children and youth into close knit harmony with their Lord and each other, connecting them to His Word; encouraging and enabling them to be active participants in His church.

JAM (Jesus And Me): Students PK3-4th Grade (Meet in the JAM Room)
MS Bible Study: 5th-8th Grade (Meet in the Youth Room by the office.)
HS Devotions: (Before Circuit Events) (HS students are encouraged to be aides in the classroom or join the adult Bible study.)
Go online, to our church’s website, to register your children and/or youth for our classes. We want to be intentional at building relationships and are always focused on what the Bible teaches.
Rice Lake Bible Study (Peter)
Friday, September 19, 5:30-7:00 PM
This Bible study has families with younger children in it. We will meet at the Buck’s home. The Bucks have chosen Right Now Media’s, “Shepherding Your Family” for their first Bible Study. Each family brings a snack to share. Families with younger children are encouraged to come! RSVP to Sophie Buck.
Lutherfest (1st Annual-Circuit Event-All Ages)
Saturday, October 4, 5:00-7:00 PM
We are inviting people of all ages from our circuit to come and enjoy a Food Fest and a Music Fest. We are asking many to register and share their musical gifts! Plan to bring a dish to pass (German cuisine encouraged.) Watch for sign-up sheets. We (FLC) will provide the WURST charcuterie board food items. There’s still time to sign up! Cindy
National Youth Gathering 2028:
Sunday, October 5, 11:30 AM -12:30 PM (NEW START DATE)
This is the first meeting for the next Gathering!! Plan to attend! Youth, who will be entering 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade this fall, are eligible to attend the next National Youth Gathering. This meeting will be informational, and we will decide how we will be more engaged in worship, Bible study, and service (three things the Gathering focuses on.)
VBS Slideshow Presentation
October 12, 9:30-10:30 AM
We will be sharing our True North Vacation Bible School experience with the congregation. Please plan to attend. This event is an outreach occurrence which has expanded this year to another location on the other side of the world! Plan to attend to find out where our VBS has headed to!
