DIRECTOR
I grew up in the Rice Lake area where I attended college, earning my associate degree in Early Childhood Education. I have previously taught at Chetek Kids Club and was the aide for the Rice Lake Montessori School. Through my years of experience, I quickly learned that I belonged in the early childhood education field. I strive to provide the children that come into my classroom with opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, spiritually. All while keeping in mind the developmental, individual, and cultural uniqueness of each child. Together we will build a love for learning!
4K TEACHER
I was born and raised in Chetek and have lived in Rice Lake for the past 15 years. My family includes my husband, our five amazing children, and three cats. Our youngest attended Kids at First and had a fantastic experience, which makes KAF feel even more special to me. Before stepping into my current teaching position, I worked from home, running my own business while also being a stay-at-home mom. I’ve also worked as a preschool aide, and I truly enjoy working with and being around kids. Helping children grow in every area of life is a passion of mine. I look forward to getting to know your family and helping your children learn, grow, and shine!
3K TEACHER
I am originally from Edina, Minnesota. While growing up, my family attended Our Lady of Grace Church. In 2005 I moved to Ashland, Wisconsin for college. Although my degree is in Native American Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice, my career goals shifted to teaching when I became a parent. I went back to school to pursue a certificate in early childhood education through the Great Lakes Waldorf Institute. I have two children; ages 10 and 2 ½. In our free time, we enjoy camping, paddling, fishing, and watching my oldest son play sports. I look forward to working with your child this year!
